"Oakland Black Music Week celebrates Black music, community, and legacy by showcasing the talent and creativity of Black artists, and artist engaged in the traditions of Black Music from Oakland and beyond. Committed to musical excellence, collaboration, diversity, and intergenerational inclusion, we promote Black entrepreneurship community empowerment, fostering connections and supporting emerging, established, and legacy musicians in Oakland."
